Island Operating is seeking experienced Deepwater Control Room Operator to support offshore production operations in the Gulf of America. We are looking for safety-driven professionals with a strong operational background who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Deepwater Control Room Operator and a proven ability to safely monitor and control offshore production systems while maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and control offshore production processes using DCS/SCADA systems.
  • Respond to process alarms and abnormal operating conditions.
  • Coordinate with field operators to safely start up, shut down, and optimize production systems.
  • Maintain accurate operating logs and documentation.
  • Follow company, client, and regulatory procedures while maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with offshore personnel and onshore support teams during normal and emergency operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of Deepwater Control Room Operator experience (required).
  • Strong understanding of offshore production equipment and process operations.
  • Experience with DCS/SCADA operating systems.
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures and process safety management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and decision-making skills.
